E.ream Sports is the endorsed vendor for the KidzNet programme – A programme by Netball Singapore which was developed in 2006 for children aged 5 to 10. It aims to develop children in their motor skills and giving them an opportunity to try out a team sport such as netball. The KidzNet programme emphasises on fun, active participation and the development of basic netball skills. Children can register for the Saturday and holiday programmes. All sessions will be conducted at Kallang Netball Centre. Kidznet can also be conducted in schools through PE lessons and CCA sessions. Schools can submit their application via the Sports Education Programme. Venue: Kallang Netball Centre Time: 8.00am - 10.00am Dates: JUL. 4, 11, 18, 25 AUG. 1, 15, 22, 29 Reserved Dates: SEP. 5, 12 ( In case of rain ) No of sessions: 8 Age: 5 - 10 years old Fees: SGD$160.00 for 1st Timers ( including a $20.00 processing fee ) or SGD$128.00 for participants who have attended KidzNet programme before. Also applicable for Schools KidzNet Programme. ( after 20% discounts & including a $20.00 processing fee ) or *New* Buddy Scheme - Enjoy 10% discount, SGD$144.00 each when you join the programme with your best friend, sister or even cousin. Fun Netball was developed in 2005 with the support from the Co-curricular Activities Branch (MOE) to encourage more children to play netball. The programme allows children aged 10 to 12 to experience learning netball through fun-filled games in a non-competitive environment. This programme is further revised in 2008 by Netball Singapore to lead children from KidzNet to the actual game of netball. The emphasis of this programme will be on netball skills - shooting, attacking & defending, roles of different positions, and rules of the game. Being a team game, netball promotes the social and psychomotor skills development of children.
